These can be captured to simple or intricate levels of detail, depending on client requirements. Extra detail can be added from the photography at a later stage. Elevations are normally supplied as 2D drawings but 3D detail can be provided if required.
A rectified image is a scaled image that has been corrected for the perspective distortion that is produced by camera tilt. If you are interested in the condition of the building fabric, a rectified image makes a good companion to an outline-only elevation drawing. This is especially true where a stone-by-stone line drawing falls outside your budget. Rectified images are sometimes perfectly adequate as a replacement for an elevation drawing. They are also ideal for mosaiced or other decorative floors. Rectifications can be supplied in one of several image formats or mounted in a DWG file.
