PhotoModeler Scanner

Perspective Services uses PhotoModeler Scanner software which produces point clouds and meshes from stereo photography.   Photo-based scanning takes less site time than laser scanning and can even operate from unstable platforms such as hoists.  Unlike laser scanning, photo-based scanning cannot capture shiny, non-textured surfaces but is a good choice for surfaces such as rock faces, spoil heaps and heritage buildings.

Laser Scan Processing

Using Rhino3D with Pointools software, Perspective Services can produce 2D and 3D data from laser scanner-derived point clouds.  Architectural elevations, sections, floorplans and 3D models of industrial plant are some of the data that can be produced from a point cloud.
